Rudraksha and its origin
RUDRAKSHA Rudraksha is bead obtained from the species of elaeocarpus (Elaeocarpus gannitrus and elaeocarpus sphaericus). Rudraksha (rudraksh) is originated from Lord shiva eyes,teardrops from the eyes of lord shiva fallen on the earth and that drops turned into rudraksha trees and thus rudraksha's are formed, as per ancient mythology rudraksha's have originated from God shiva eyes. Different varieties of rudraksha's: 1.Rudraksha 2.Bhadraksha 3.Indraksha and 4.Somaksha (Sahastraksha) Rudraksha's are available in different types based on their grooves/margins on bead (mukhas or face) 1-33 mukhi's of rudraksha's are available as per ancient puranas and samhitas, but most commonly 3-21 mukhi rudraksha's available into common use and that too as the mukhi increases price of rudraksha's increase because higher mukhi have very good astrological benefits and electromagnetic power.
